Miami Radio Host Jeff Fox Says TVD Could Be The Next UM Legend

My gut tells me this is the guy. The resurrection of the Miami Hurricanes football program had to start one day. I truly  believe that day has finally come after a long and grueling wait. We have reason for optimism. We have reason for a long awaited return to glory and his name is Tyler Van Dyke.

For the second consecutive week the Canes have knocked off a ranked opponent and the kid with the rocket arm is a big reason why.

No longer three yards and a cloud of dust. No longer receivers who could not catch a cold. This is a team that has woke up because the QB can “slang the rock.”

To the tune of 32-42 for 428 yards, three touchdowns and a pick as Miami upset Pittsburgh 38-34.

TVD as some have now affectionately labeled him could be set up for a magical season if the ball continues to bounce Miami’s way.  The Canes should be favored in their final four games Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Florida State and Duke. Let’s say an 8-4 finish and if Van Dyke continues his sizzling play he may be in contention for ACC Rookie Of the Year.

If he keeps it up during these final four games with his recent sizzling play. This fan base may have a reason to believe that Hurricane Football is on the way back. Ultimately, he may have saved Manny Diaz’s job in the process.
