LOS ANGELES — Mere words can never do justice when it came to the Hall of Fame voice of Vin Scully.
His smooth silky voice provided the soundtrack for the boys of summer while entertaining and informing Dodgers fans in Brooklyn and Los Angeles for 67 years. Vin Scully died Tuesday night. He was 94.
Scully died at his home in the Hidden Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.
He will forever be remembered for his iconic calls in some of the greatest moments in baseball history.
