Lebron James The Greatest Basketball Player Ever

The Captain has passed the crown to the King. It was an unbelievable atmosphere at Crypto.com arena. Reminiscent of the night Kobe Bryant dropped 60 points in this final game. Electric, Celebrities, scripted for Hollywood. Played out brilliantly like a movie script. This was fit for a King.

The Captain Kareem held the scoring record for 38 years and the new scoring King now at a young 38 years old, on the 38th day of the year, he broke the record with a 38-point performance and now has 38,388 points. I swear you can’t make this stuff up.

The sports world has never seen a basketball player much less an athlete like Lebron James. Ever. He came into the league with all the fanfare, all the accolades. Before he bounced one single basketball in the NBA. He was dubbed “The Chosen One”.

How many times have we seen athletes come into professional sports with so much hype, that the only thing left for them to do was to fail. Well Lebron has failed but he has also won. Just like the man proclaimed the greatest before him Muhammad Ali. Folks like to point to the fact that Lebron has been to the finals 10 times. The third most all time including eight consecutively between 2011 and 2018. He has won four times. In baseball terms he is batting .400 that is pretty damn good. He lost to better teams but he was always the best player.

I will never understand the Lebron hate. Some people hate Lebron for being greater than Michael Jordan. In my opinion he is. The best to ever do it. Period for 20 years and he still averaging 30 points per game. That is ridiculous his kid is about to be drafted while he is STILL playing. A once in a lifetime player. We are all blessed to have been witness to the greatness that is Lebron James.
