HEAT BEAT KNICKS AGAIN LEAD SERIES 3-1

The Miami Heat were just good enough for a 109-101 victory over the New York Knicks in Game 4 of the NBA’s eastern conference semi final Monday night, and they now sit just one win away from back to back Eastern Conference finals appearances, and their third in the past four seasons. Sadly for the Knicks they are now just one loss away from having their season come to an end as the series shifts back to New York for Game 5 on Wednesday night.

Jimmy Butler had 27 points, ten assists and six rebounds, and Bam Adebayo dropped a 23-point, 13-rebound gem in perhaps his finest playoff performance this year. All 10 Heat players who appeared in the game scored at least two points, and that type of team effort helped Miami to coast to the win.

The big names delivered for the Knicks. Jalen Brunson had 32 points and 11 assists, and R.J. Barrett added 24 points, four rebounds and three assists. Even Julius Randle contributed 20 points, nine rebounds and three assists before fouling out in the fourth quarter. The knick “others” pullled a whodini when somebody else needed to show up, rest of the team combined for just 25 total points. A dejected Spike Lee stormed out of the arena as time expired.

The Knicks are now on the brink of elimination as they head back to the garden for game 5.
